The SportAccord Convention is an annual international event at the service of sport, designed to drive positive change and facilitate networking of individuals and organisations in the development of sport.
A particular interest of the SportAccord Convention will be a two-day conference on 23-24 May. The conference will see a number of panel discussions, a debate and a round table discussion. The panel discussions will provide an insight into the coming decade, addressing the changes and challenges likely to occur; discuss the changing landscape of sports sponsorship and address the topic of Corporate Social Responsibility in sport.
Other, interesting topics range from the broadcasting media’s influence and role in shaping sport in the coming years, technological advancements on high-performance sport and opportunities and challenges associated with ‘fan power’. Additionally, a roundtable discussion addressing key issues associated with adapting your sport to a dynamic and changing world will take place.
